Further imaging

If we need further imaging, we both have access to musculo-skeletal services in the hospital, including the MRI scanner, for both public and private patients.

MRI services are only available to request by a handful of specialist clinicians in Jersey, including both Adam and Dave with their post graduate qualifications in sports medicine .

What can further imaging do?

MRI is sensitive to changes in cartilage and bone structure resulting from injury, disease, or aging. It can detect herniated discs, pinched nerves, spinal cord compression, and fractures.
